Polo is without a doubt one of the most exciting sports in the world. No other game combines the grace of equestrian pursuits and the skill of a ball game with such thrilling results. The athletic ability of the rider and the power of his mount come together as two teams of four battle for supremacy on the field. Speed, agility, strategy and of course goals, Polo packs it all into 4 pulsating chukkas!
Often called the Sport of Kings, the game continues to enjoy a strong following amongst the world’s royalty. Whether it is played on the green fields of England, the rolling Pampas in Argentina or under the blue skies of Dubai, the rich and famous are always in attendance.
However, despite its reputation as an elite sport, Polo is played by more than 50 million people each year across 77 countries. As testament to its growing popularity, Polo has recently been recognised as an Olympic sport by the International Olympic Committee after an absence of over 70 years.
We have Polo Matches being played on Monday, Wedneday, Friday and Saturday 3:30 pm onwards during season.
Everyone is welcome to watch the Polo games during the season. Polo Chukkas are played on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 3:30 pm onwards, during season.
You can bring your own picnic or rely on Dubai Polo & Equestrian to do all the cooking for you. Choose from one of our Polo Picnic Boxes and enjoy your picnic with family and friends. Alternatively book a table on the magnificent terraces of the clubhouse for brunch whilst enjoying the pulsating views of the Polo Players and their horses.
